What is Hyperhidrosis?

Hyperhidrosis is a common condition in which a person sweats excessively. Common areas include axilla (armpits) and palms of the hands.

To treat Hyperhidrosis, Botox is used to block nerve signals that instruct the sweat glands to become active. Effects generally last between 6-9 months.

What is Sclerotherapy?

Sclerotherapy is the procedure used to treat blood vessel and lymphatic system malformations. These affected vessels are often referred to as “spider veins” or “varicose veins”. The procedure involves injecting medicine into the affected vessels, causing them to shrink.

At CRT Medical Aesthetics, we use a treatment of Sclerodex and Thromboject. These medicinal agents act as a vein irritant and when combined with wearing compression stockings, will cause the vein to collapse.
