What to Expect

At CRT Medical Aesthetics, we want to make your experience a pleasant one. As such, what to expect at your visit may include the following:

Each client will be taken privately to complete a good faith Health Assessment, before photo, consent form signing, and digital consultation with the Medical Director.
Once Botox treatments are completed, it is recommended not to lie down for four hours post injection.
Each actual Botox treatment varies and would generally take 20 minutes per client after the consent, health assessment and consultation are completed.
Filler treatments consist of a longer duration. Please allow for up to 1 hour.
Alcohol is not permitted prior to procedure as it is illegal to obtain consent if the client is under the influence of alcohol.
Alcohol is not recommended for 24 hours post treatment simply because it may encourage bruising at the injection site.

The safety of our clients is also of the utmost importance. Our safety guidelines are as follows:

70% alcohol is used to clean equipment and materials.
Government regulated guidelines for social distancing are observed.
Staff are fully equipped with PPE, which is changed between clients.
Staff are fully vaccinated and will ensure Covid-19 screening is completed prior to visits.

Pricing

Pricing valuation will depend on consultation and areas of treatment. Generally, clients can expect to pay the standardized national Canadian rate of $10 per unit. CRT Medical Aesthetics is pleased to offer Botox at a price of $8 per unit for a limited time.

Most frequently requested Botox treatment areas include crows feet, lines around the eyes, forehead wrinkles, vertical 11 lines between the eyebrows.

Common Botox injection sites and the units generally required can be seen in the table below.

Forehead Lines 10-30 units
Crow’s Feet 5-15 units per side
Area between eyebrows (11 lines) 9-15 units
Nasalis (“bunny lines”) around nose 5-10 units per side
Corners of mouth or smile 3-6 units per side
Upper eyebrow area or eyebrow lift 2-5 units per side
TMJ 10-30 units per triangular point per TMJ
Hyperhidrosis 40-60 units per axilla grid like formation
Sclerotherapy $200 for 30 min session (usually covers 20-30 spider/varicose vein insertion points)
